Pets
Pets
  • must be registered prior to arrival so that we can reserve a room where dogs are permitted
  • Dogs must be kept on a lead throughout the hotel and car park, regardless of breed
  • Dogs are not permitted in any dining areas or restaurants, nor in the wellness and garden areas. To ensure that dogs do not accidentally relieve themselves on the lawn or around the building, and also so that other guests do not feel frightened when encountering dogs, dogs must be kept on a lead on the hotel grounds
  • If, after consultation, your little friend cannot stay in the room, there is seating available in the lobby lounge next to the restaurant; please let us know
  • Dog waste bags and bins can be found along well-used paths (a dedicated dog waste station has been set up for you by the bridge at the hotel entrance); please dispose of the waste bags ONLY THERE, and do not leave them at the hotel entrance, in the car park, amongst our hedges, flowers and plants... or even at the smokers’ pole (= fire hazard!!!!) .
  • Should you run out of dog waste bags, we will be happy to help you out. Please do not leave the dog waste bags in the car park, amongst the flowers or even in the ash bins, but in the designated waste bin installed specifically for this purpose at the hotel entrance. Thank you very much.
  • In WĂ€ngle, dogs must be kept on a lead and their waste must be collected. Please dispose of the waste bags in the public bins (located by the bridge for our guests) or, alternatively, in your room. Please do not carelessly throw away the waste bags or leave them at the hotel entrance. Thank you for disposing of them properly.
  • Dear four-legged friend, please ensure you do not do your business in front of the hotel, in the car park, or indeed in the garden or meadows. You surely know that the meadows are used as feed for your animal companions. If this is contaminated by faeces, it harms the cows and must be discarded. The farmers and the lovely livestock will be grateful if you show consideration in this regard.
  • Dog walking routes start right from the hotel (please observe good manners). Explore the area upon arrival so that you can find your way easily to the night entrance in the evening or at night. Lechweg
Lechweg

Discover the diverse natural landscape of one of Europe’s last wild rivers along the Lechweg, a moderate long-distance hiking trail. The long-distance trail stretches for around 125 kilometres through five holiday regions and the two countries of Austria and Germany, past Europe’s largest ibex colony and mysterious waterfalls, over swaying suspension bridges, through river meadows and forests, right up to royal castles. The trail is constantly framed by the backdrop of the Lechtal and AllgĂ€u Alps.

The Lechweg starts at Lake Formarin in Lech am Arlberg, at the point where the Lech rises. From there, the trail continues via Warth into the Lech Valley. Watch as the small spring becomes a mountain stream and finally a wider river which, unlike most rivers in the Alpine region, has remained in its natural state. A special spot to take in the unique river landscape is undoubtedly the Beichlstein near Stanzach in the Lech Valley. From there, you have a fantastic view of the so-called Lechzopf.

The Talhof is situated directly on the Lechweg and thus offers the ideal base camp for Lech stages. Send us an email at hotel@talhof.com – we’d be happy to advise you! Or simply speak to us on site.

Gravelbiking and MTB
A warm welcome to your quality-assured cycling and mountain biking hotel.

Would you like to experience Reutte in an active way? Then why not explore the region by mountain bike? Tyrol and the surrounding area offer a variety of routes for experienced mountain bikers as well as for the whole family. You can also discover this beautiful region on a leisurely cycle through the Lech Valley. For example, on a guided tour along the popular Lech Cycle Path – our local tour guides are happy to assist you on request. Or take an interesting tour via Hinterbichl, Unterletzen and the Schluxenhof, or via the FĂŒrstenweg to Neuschwanstein Castle – including a stop for a swim at Alpsee or Schwansee.

Whether you prefer a leisurely ride or a more challenging one – our tours are guaranteed to have something for everyone. Because we turn cycling in the Lech Valley into a real experience!

Cycling in the Lech Valley can be so easy. At our hotel, we have a mountain sports & bike room secured with a combination lock (please also bring bike locks to secure your bikes individually), a laundry service, and a washing area for cleaning your bikes

Gravelbike

4 valleys – 1 community. The gravel bike is undoubtedly the most exciting trend in the cycling scene right now. 19 gravel bike routes await you in what is arguably Tyrol’s largest gravel bike destination, comprising the Reutte holiday region, Tannheimertal, Lechtal and Zugspitzarena valleys, with almost 2,000 kilometres of trails. Pretty cool, isn’t it?

Would you like to explore the region on bike tours but don’t have your own bike with you? No problem! We’re happy to help you organise your MTB, gravel bike or e-bike.

If you haven’t pre-booked a bike, please ask when booking whether any are available.
