A stay in Tyrol's Lech Nature Park - a real gem, and so versatile

The valley basin of Reutte stretches out before us with a wonderful view of the mountains and the Ehrenberg castle ensemble. Surrounded by meadows and forests. Beautiful nature as far as the eye can see. And to top it all off, short distances to numerous highlights such as the castles and fortresses or the Higline 179 suspension bridge. But that's not all!

Where the Lech can still be wild and free, rare plants and wild animals still feel free. Our nature park rangers are happy to show you the beauty of this nature. Our house is the perfect base camp for Lechweg hikers.

Guided hikes with a hiking guide or nature park ranger are available. Cycling groups enjoy cycling along the Lech cycle path and really enjoy it.

Climb mountains or walk round lakes. Turquoise blue and crystal clear water - simply breathtaking. Numerous hiking trails lead directly from the hotel to the Hahnenkamm hiking area. The Hahnenkamm Mountain World is just a 5-minute walk away and offers our guests a generous discount up the mountain!

Excursions

A visit to Ehrenberg Castle World is always the right choice! However, the neighbouring castles of Neuschwanstein, Hohenschwangau and the pretty Linderhof are among the absolute hot spots for guests from all over the world. The royal castles of Ludwig II are fantastically beautiful and can be perfectly combined for excursions over several days. Other excursion destinations not to be missed are the Zugspitze in Ehrwald, the Alpine Garden on the Hahnenkamm and, of course, the provincial capital of Innsbruck with the nearby Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens.

If you're wondering what Tyrol tastes like on a plate, we can give you a little taster and we hope your mouth will water: Juicy roast pork with a crispy crust, beef goulash that melts in your mouth, Tyrolean dumplings, sweet Kaiserschmarrn or racy Kasspatzln. Breakfast at the Talhof is the ideal way to start your day on holiday. We bake the bread, sweet pastries and plaited bread ourselves and when it comes to the sausage and cheese specialities, we make sure that the food is not jet-lagged and comes from our trusted regional partners wherever possible.

Welcome to the Talhof

You are guaranteed to feel at home in our rooms - as a couple, family, (sports) friends or individual travellers. You will enjoy plenty of space, marvellous peace and quiet and a modern alpine atmosphere. The tranquillity on the forest side is very popular with our guests. Three barrier-free rooms and over 30 rooms suitable for allergy sufferers ensure a carefree holiday for everyone. Please let us know at the time of booking or at the latest when the guest registers if barrier-free rooms or rooms without steps are required.

99% of the rooms are equipped with a shower, seating, flat-screen TV and balcony.

A sauna is always nice, especially in the colder months of the year. So what could be nicer than enjoying the warmth of the sauna after a long hike through the snowy landscape? Add to that a pleasant massage and the day is a good one ;-)

Ok, cool down is probably a bit of an exaggeration given the pleasant 28 to 30 degrees that our new summer pool has. But really, the guests are overjoyed with the pool and enjoy the relaxed existence with a long swim in the morning or after a long day of hiking.

As part of this programme, the nature park region invites you to take part in numerous events and activities. With the Aktiv-Card you can also spend pleasant hours in the Alpentherme Reutte, with the Aktivcard you enjoy a generous discount.
